Surftech collaborated with surf instructors to develop surf-school specific surfboards

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 22 March, 2017 - Surftech announced the launch of a new line of Learn 2 Surf Surfboards that incorporate visual and textural markings designed to help speed up the learning process.

In a statement Surftech said they collaborated with surf instructors to develop the boards that will help them be more efficient teachers.

"We had some of our local instructors use these boards in their private lessons," siad Ryan Guay, VP of Sales at Surftech. "The students all agreed that it made it easier for them, especially when it came to paddling for waves. We got asked several times if we could sell the board at the end of the lesson. The students wanted to take them home and continue on their own."

In 1997 Surftech debute the first soft-top line of boards which grew to become extremely popular globally. And while full foam soft boards had been around since the 1970s, Surftech says their goal was to "make a durable soft board that actually had the performance and feel of a "real" surfboard."

The boards are built with an epoxy/ fiberglass construction using an EVA foam-rubber deck-and rail combination.
